Strategic and business planning - Designing events and workshops for senior teams, boards and whole staff groups. Aiming to develop team working as well as delivering practical outputs such as action planning. Supporting leaders to take forward what has been agreed and action planning so that everyone feels a sense of achievement.

Working with Teams - According to Patrick Lencioni all teams are dysfunctional, some are more dysfunctional than others!

Drawing on his model for tackling the five common dysfunctions, we work with teams and leaders. The aim is to build trust, improve morale, support individuals to take responsibility for holding colleagues accountable for team decisions and focus the team’s attention on the results needed. Finally, learning to deal with conflict effectively!

Effective Boards - Enabling Chairs and Trustees to fulfil their critical role in voluntary and community organisations; from induction to self-assessment, through away days, coaching, action learning and change management consultancy. We can work with you to develop the most effective way to achieve your goals.

Developing Volunteering Strategies - From small volunteer led charities to involving volunteers on a large scale, at all levels across all functions, its important to manage volunteering well. It helps if you know why you want to involve volunteers, are clear about the added value that volunteers bring, offering their time and expertise to enable you to deliver your objectives.

Research and evaluation - measuring impact - It pays to know if you are making a difference and if so, on who or what! Using tools such as the Volunteering Impact Assessment Toolkit, we can work with you to develop and build into your projects, simple realistic methods to evaluate what you are doing – its good to know but even better for making the case to funders for additional funding. We can conduct an evaluation during or at the end of a project.
