Helping organisations and people achieve their goals

Established in 2008, we work mainly in the voluntary and community sector but have worked with a range of teams in local authorities and with Boards and CEOs in social housing.

We have expertise in the key aspects of leading organisations especially when change is happening and have particular knowledge and expertise in managing volunteers. We are skilled at facilitating large and small groups and providing individual coaching for people working and volunteering at all levels and at different stages in their careers.

Our Vision

Dare to Change strives to be a successful and highly regarded consultancy respected for its expertise, knowledge and skills for supporting organisations to implement change. We will be determined, energetic and enabling.

We work in partnership with others who can bring additional expertise that ensures successful delivery for our clients while valuing their existing knowledge and experience. We start with what's already working.

Our Values

We value our change management expertise and experience gained through implementing change in different situations. We are responsive, have integrity, are flexible and at all times aim to find the fun in learning.

Volunteering and pro bono work is part of our offer; Barbara has volunteered in a variety of different roles over the years; as external advisor to Girl guiding UK on inclusion, board member of Innisfree Housing Association and Chair of Volunteer Centre Brighton & Hove's Advisory Group. More recently she was the external facilitator for an Action Learning Group of senior volunteering managers in large charities and is currently on the Advisory Board for Runaclub and mentor to the Volunteer Manager, Army Families Federation.
